PURPOSE:To obtain a lubricating oil composition having high viscosity index usable as an engine oil for automobiles, having excellent cleaning and dispersing properties containing a base oil, improver of viscosity index such as polyolefin and modified alpha-olefin oligomer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition containing (A) a base oil, (B) one or more of improvers of viscosity index selected from a group consisting of a polyolefin, a polyalkylene (meth)acrylate and a hydrogenated diene polymer soluble in mineral oil and (C) a modified alpha-olefin oligomer prepared by grafting a carbonyl group-containing monomer onto an alpha-olefin oligomer. The blending ratios of the components B and C are 20-99.8pts.wt. component B and 0.2-80pts. wt. component C based on 100pts.wt. total amounts of the components B and C. |
