PURPOSE: To securely retain the spacing between a loom and a Jacquard mecha nism placed above the loom so as to be constant at all times by supporting the legs of a loom on level control-type vibration dampers so as to isolate vibrations caused by the operation of a loom. CONSTITUTION: The purpose of this invention is achieved by placing level control-type vibration dampers each having a hydraulic damper or a bucket combined with an air spring mutually in parallel in a plane passing through the center of gravity of a warp beam in the lower part of a loom and by supporting the loom with the dampers. The level control-type vibration dampers isolate vibrations caused by the operation of a loom and adjust the level of the loom in response of the weight change of a warp beam so as to maintain the constant spacing between a loom and a Jacquard mechanism placed above the loom. |
