PURPOSE: To reduce a thrusting danger caused by a cannula by the constitution that a piston in a case body exists between the both coupling portions, and is slidably arranged toward a vertical axis direction at between an extended position and a retracted position, and the scarf end of a cannula is safely sealed into the case body when the case body is sufficiently long and the piston is in the retracted position. CONSTITUTION: A needle is drawn out from an injected position after injecting an agent contained in an injector by pushing an inner cylinder from the retracted position to the extended position. The retraction of an injection needle is carried out by moving a pin 60 while holding the case body at a fixed position, or by moving the outer cylinder 38 of the injector toward the right direction and then sliding the piston 22 to the retracted position. The pin 60 is locked in response to a lock means used. Accordingly the needle is drawn out, simultaneously sealed into the case body, followingly the piston 22 may be slidden to the retracted position from the extended position. In this case, the scarf end of the cannula 50 is fully sealed into the case body. For caution's sake, a plug 78 is inserted into the bore 20 of an end wall of the closed end of the case body.
