PURPOSE:To achieve suction-elimination of air, which leaves no air even in minute voids in wrinkles, by placing a packaged article under a transparent film stretched across in the middle in an airtight box and by eliminating air simultaneously from the spaces above and under the transparent film by suction so as to simultaneously place the upper and lower chambers under a negative pressure. CONSTITUTION:A sheet of transparent film 2 whose underside is a coarse rear surface 2a is stretched across in the middle in an airtight box 1 with the coarse surface 2a on the lower side; Under the transparent film 2 is placed a packaged article (a) with its side to be protected from unjust opening placed above. Then the air in the spaces 3, 4 above and under the transparent film 2 is eliminated therefrom simultaneously by suction so as to place the two spaces under a negative pressure. The transparent film 2 is left to retain its initial condition in which it has been stretched in the middle, and the elimination of air from the lower space 4 is such that the spaces surrounding the packaged article (a) and the minute voids in the wrinkles forming the coarse surface 2a of the film 2 are all cleared of air. The isostatic pressure is kept on the upper side and on the lower side all through the elimination of air, and the transparent film retains its initial condition in which the film has been stretched. |
