A process for preparing honey flavour contg. extract of propolis comprises (a) mixing propolis with 3-4 folds of ethanol and standing the mixt for 48-72 hrs., (b) extracting it by shaking every 6-12 hrs. and (c) filtering and refining the extracted solution. Propolis is the resinous viscous shubstance which honey bees collect from various plants and use as the repairing and/or reinforcing material for honeycombs. |
