Prepn. of building rubble, which contains inorganic components as well as organic components, includes breaking up the material. A quantity of fine granular material is added to the broken rubble material and the organic components are withdrawn via a gulley. The remaining material is then sepd. off for reuse. The fine granular material is pref.sand, and the organic components are removed by oscillation ''. at 10-100Hz. ADVANTAGE - The process another enables rubble to be reused, and is dry.
