PURPOSE:To quickly and surely warn the skew of an automobile by detecting a running zone display line with a detector having an element projecting the light on the running road surface and an element receiving the reflected light of the projected light, and operating a warning unit. CONSTITUTION:An automobile C is run according to a running zone display line 1 applied on the road surface during the ordinary operation. The projected light from the projecting element of a display line detector 3 arranged on the rear side of the side mirror 2 of the automobile C is reflected on the inner side of the display line 1, thus a receiving element receives the light quantity less than the preset value. Therefore, a warning unit 4 is not operated. On the other hand, when the automobile C skews and abnormally approaches the display line 1, the projected light from the projecting element is reflected on the display line 1, thus the receiving sensor receives the light quantity more than the preset value, and the warning unit 4 is operated. The skew of the automobile can be quickly and surely warned to a driver. |
