The invention relates to a transdermal therapeutic system for administering physostigmine onto the skin, composed of a covering layer which is impermeable to the active ingredient, of an adhesive reservoir layer and, where appropriate, of a protective layer which can be detached again, a reservoir layer of which contains 10 - 90 % by weight of polymer material selected as from the groups consisting of block copolymers based on styrene and 1,3-dienes, polyisobutylenes, acrylate- and/or methacrylate-based polymers and esters of hydrogenated rosin, 0-30 % by weight of plasticisers based on hydrocarbons and/or esters and 0.1 - 20 % by weight of physostigmine. |
