PURPOSE:To compute the content of adenosine in a sample, by separating isolated radioactive element labelled adenosine from that of combined with an antiadenosine antibody and measuring either quantity of radioactivity. CONSTITUTION:An ocylation reagent is added to a liquid sample and a standard solution of adenosine and these are reacted. A prescribed quantity of radioactive element labelled 2', 3' -diacyl adenosine and 2' position hydroxyl group and 3' hydroxyl group adenosine and also, carrier protein, are mixed with a prescribed quantity of an antiadenosine antibody obtained by an antigen combined through the residue of dicarboxylic acid and antigen-antibody reaction is carried out. Next, radioactive element standard adenosine isolated in a reaction liquid is separated from that of combined with the antiadenosine antibody and either quantity of radioactivity is measured and then, the content of adenosine in the sample is computed.
