PURPOSE:To shorten the time required for log-in settling by providing an automatic identification information transmitting means and a manual identification information transmitting means which read out identification information from a program function (PF) key table and transmit it to host computers respectively. CONSTITUTION:Identification information such as identification numbers of terminals or passwords are registered in a PF key table 31 correspondingly to PF keys PF1 to PF3. An automatic identification information transmitting means 22 reads out the identification information, which the identification information transmission request from a host computer 11 requests, from the PF key table 31 and transmits it to the host computer 11. A manual identification information transmitting means 21 reads out the identification information corresponding to depressed one of PF keys PF1 to PF3 from the PF key table 31 in accordance with the depression of this PF key and transmits it to the host computer 1.
