PURPOSE:To reduce the man-hours of maintenance work by executing maintenance by generating a content to execute the maintenance of every kind of file, transmitting the file by using a file transfer function, and updating a correction file based on the content. CONSTITUTION:A transmission side terminal processor 13 generates a transmission file 16 including a correction content required for the maintenance, and sends it to a high-order host processor 11 via terminal control equipment 12 and a communication line 1. The high-order host processor 11 stores the content of the transmission file 16 once in a host data file 17. A reception side terminal processor 15 receives the content from the host data file 17 as a reception file 18 via a communication line 2 and terminal control equipment 14. And the maintenance is executed by confirming the content, taking out correction data, and applying update on the correction file 19. Thereby, it is possible to dispense with the manual sending of a correction medium to a site, and to reduce the man-hours of the maintenance work.
