A shuttering arrangement comprises elements for erecting continuous surfaces on one or both sides of a casting cavity, and connecting means for interconnecting the elements in order to a form a shuttering surface, an element comprising a box-shaped construction 1, 2 with a continuous wall 2 on one side, while its other side has longitudinal and transverse grooves or channels 3, 4, 5 with an opening 27, 28 through the sheathing in each imaginary or actual intersection 8, 9 between longitudinal and transverse channels which are open out towards the respective edge sides of the element, and with a hole 39 and an adjacent slot 40 in the channel walls at the edge sides of the element, which holes/slots form fastening arrangements for the connecting means. The connecting means are in the form of rod-shaped elements 34 fitted into the channels and designed for locking to and interconnecting adjacent elements by means of said holes/slots 39, 40, each element having spiders for positioning over said channel intersections 8, 9, and each spider having a central, through-opening which, when positioned, aligns with said through-opening 27, 28 through the sheathing in the intersection. On one plane side, the arms of the spider have bearing projections for bearing against the channel tops. <IMAGE>
