PURPOSE:To distribute the calculation load and the data arrangement to improve the processing efficiency by fractionizing an object space and selecting a proper hash function to assign plural voxcels to a specific processor unit. CONSTITUTION:A voxcel bit map 11 where the position of a voxcel where an object exists out of plural voxcels obtained by dividing the object space is recorded, a hash function part 10a and object data 12 of voxcels which units take charge of are provided for the purpose of determining a processor unit 1 to which a new generated light beam packet should be transmitted. When receiving the light beam packet, the processor 1 transfers it to a processing part 10 through an internal bus 15 if it is destined for the processor itself. In the processing part 10, object data in the storage part 14 is accessed to discriminate whether the object in the voxcel and the light beam cross or not based on the direction vector of the light beam and the position of the start point. |
