<p>Terrestrial navigator device carried on board a mobile, comprising means (110) of measuring distance travelled, a magnetometer (112) and end-use means (114) responsive to the information delivered by the abovementioned means and which determine an estimated position, characterised in that it further comprises means (116, 122, 126, 132) able continuously to apply a correction to the information emanating from one at least of the means (110) of measuring distance and of the magnetometer (112), before applying this information to the end-use means (114), on the basis of data chosen from the group comprising the attitude of the mobile, the position of the mobile and the magnetic state of the mobile at the instant of measurement.
