PURPOSE: To optimally automate the aligning of box blanks by incorporating a longitudinal guide rail movable in a horizontal surface with regard to an upward straightening appliance in a longitudinal aligning means, and holding a pressure regulating means to a box blank by the appliance in a longitudinal beam, thereby shortening a time used to set a following appliance. CONSTITUTION: The machine comprises an upward straightening appliance 1 having a row of pivotal levers 17 having rollers 36 at a vertical surface. In this case, the levers are permanently fixed on a support 16, which is pivotally moved in a horizontal plane by an operation of a corner piece 40 movable by knobs 47, 48 with protrusions along threaded rods 43, 44. And, the piece 40 is connected to the support 16 by a plastic unit mounted at one end of a shaft 29 for holding the lever 17. A downward straightening appliance 2 is pivotally moved by a roller 54 disposed on a shaft of the roller 36 of the lever 17, and supported by an endless belt 52. Box blanks are aligned along a longitudinal aligning rail by moving the support 16 on the horizontal surface. |
