A device for a rotating electrical machine with a vertical axis 3, in particular a water power machine, for mounting in a supporting element 4 a machine part 1 arranged concentrically with the vertical axis 3 which device permits a horizontal movement between the machine part 1 and the supporting element 4. The device comprises a number of base plates 5 arranged on the machine part 1 each resting on a supporting plate 6 attached to the supporting element 4. In each of the divisions between the base plates 5 and the supporting plates 6 there is a control device 7 so designed that in a first direction X-X it permits movement between the base plate 5 and the supporting plate 6 and in a second direction, perpendicular to the first, it prevents such movement, where the first direction X-X forms an angle β with a radius 13 from the centre 11 of the vertical axis 3 to the control device 7. <IMAGE> Key to diagram: Snitt A - A = Section A - A Snitt B - B = Section B - B |
