<p>PURPOSE:To do maintenance/inspection work safely by providing a piston, which advances each cylinder by gas pressure, at the base of each cylinder, and bulding in a winder, which winds up a string being stretched between it and a cylinder at the tip, at the rear of a cylinder at the rear end. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder 1 and a cylinder 2 are carried up, in the condition where those are stored in a cylinder 3, to a power transmission steel tower, and on the steel tower, insualting gas such as compressed air, etc., is supplied to the compressed gas introduction port 7 of a chamber 6 being formed at the rear of a cylinder 3 at the rear end. As a result, gas pressure acts on pistons 4 and 5 at the bases of each cylinder 1 and 2, and the cylinders 1 and 2 seek to stretch forward, so if a winder 10 is rotated slowly so as to loosen the string 11, the cyliders 1 and 2 can be stretched to the optional position, and if the winder 10 is stopped, the cylinders 1 and 2 can be stopped in that position. Thereupon, a worker can perform maintenance/inspection work of an insulator device safely. making use of an operation end 12 being provided at the cylinder 1 at the top.</p> |
