PURPOSE:To uniformize both magnetic flux distribution and temperature distribution in the radial direction of such a non-heating body as the bottom of a pot or the like by arranging a ring-shaped body made of a non-magnetic conductor between a flat type vortex-like coil and an object of heating. CONSTITUTION:A ring-shaped body 11 made of a non-magnetic conductor is arranged between an induction heating coil 1 and an object of heating 3. Such an induced current as preventing a change in alternating magnetic flux in accordance with Lenz's law on electro-magnetic induction is accordingly generated, so that the alternating magnetic flux is distributed as if it tries to keep off the non-magnetic conductor. Thus, magnetic flux 14 generated by the coil 1 is distributed to keep off the ring-shaped body 11 made of the non-magnetic conductor through the arrangement of the ring-shaped body 11, and therefore magnetic flux present in a non-heating body is uniformized for permitting to uniformize temperature distribution. |
