<p>PURPOSE:To efficiently treat various kinds of organic waste water by filling an anaerobic waste water treating device with immobilizing carriers win at least two layers, between which a space of 50-300mm, preferably 100-200mm, is provided. CONSTITUTION:An anaerobic waste water treating device is filled with immobilizing carriers in at least two layers, between which a space of 50-300mm, preferably 100-200mm, is provided. Preferably, the immobilizing carrier is made of synthetic resins and shaped into a cylindrical form. It is also suggested that this device be of a fairly large-sized tank, e.g. about 1000m<2>, so designed as to receive racks in 2-5 tiers therein. If, for example, a three-tier rack of tank is used, the immobilizing carriers are stacked on each rack to a height of 2.80 meter with a space of 150mm between each rack. This device is effective in dispersing the waste water under treatment and heightens the contact efficiency between organisms and organic substances in the waste water, whereby various kinds of organic waste water can be treated efficiently.</p> |
