PURPOSE:To reduce the toxicity and foul odor of a coating soln. and to improve the coating performance by using a mixture of dialkylene glycol dialkyl ether with alcohols as a solvent. CONSTITUTION:The coating soln. is obtd. by dissolving a positive type photosensitive compsn. such as a compsn. based on a high molecular compd. contg. o-quinonediazido groups or a negative type photosensitive compsn. such as a compsn. contg. diazo resin in a mixture of dialkylene glycol dialkyl ether such as diethylene glycol dimethyl ether with alcohols as a solvent. This solvent may be used in combination with other solvent such as ethyl acetate. A photosensitive printing plate is preferably produced by coating a support with the coating soln. and drying this soln. |
