<p>PURPOSE:To improve pick shock resistance by forming grooves in the longitudinal directions at the butting faces of a pair of U-shaped pipes whose cross sections are hollow semicircular shapes, and providing metallic-made guide plates through bonding-cum-sealing agent in these grooves such that they straddle both U-shaped pipes. CONSTITUTION:A straight type adjustable split pipe 10 is constituted by making a pair of U-shaped pipes 10a and 10b, which consist of resin such as vinyl chloride and whose cross sections are hollow semicircular shapes, butted against each other through butting parts 12a and 12b. And grooves 13a and 13b are formed in the longitudinal directions at the butting parts 12a and 12b, and in their insides a metallic-made guide plate 11 consisting of an Al pipe which includes a packing 11a through a bonding-cum-sealing agent is so arranged as to straddle the butting parts. Flanges 10c are formed at both ends of the split pipe 10, and a receiving groove 14 is formed between this flange 10c and a projection 12c which is integrated with the butting parts 12a and 12c, and the metallic-made guide plate 11 is partially exposed at the flange 11c.</p> |
