<p>This device comprises, in a chassis (2) which is vertically adjustable with respect to a fixed frame, means (3) for storage of a paper tape (4), possibly pre-printed, having lateral perforations, means (5) for driving the tape (4) cooperating with its lateral perforations and capable of displacing this tape through at least the length of one label (1), means (9) capable of applying, onto a horizontal plate (6), at least one end of the tape after displacement of the latter, means (7) for transversely cutting off the end of the tape in order to separate a label (1), means (15) depositing on the non-printed back of the label (1) at least two parallel and longitudinal rows of spaced spots of paste, means (22-23) capable of standing the pasted label vertically and applying it to the package, with compression of elastic means (19), and control means coordinating the abovementioned means with the sequential progress of the packages which are to receive the label. <IMAGE></p> |
