PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a polyester film having excellent adhesiveness and antistatic properties by using a polyester composition comprising a polyester, a specified polyethylene glycol and a specified antistatic agent and obtained by adding the polyethylene glycol to the reaction system in a specified stage. CONSTITUTION:A polyester resin composition comprising 100 pts.wt. polyester (A) mainly consisting of repeating ethylene terephthalate units. 0.1-2.0 pts.wt. polyethylene glycol (B) of a weight-average MW of 10000-30000, and 0.1-1.0 pt.wt. metal alkylsulfonate and/or metal alkylbenzensulfonate (C) is obtained by adding the glycol (B) to the reaction system in a stage in which the intrinsic viscosity of the formed polyester exceeds 0.3 in the polymerization of the polyester (A) and accomplishing the polymerization. The obtained composition is formed into a film. |
