PURPOSE:To eliminate the danger of ignition due to a spark by separating the arrangement part of a mechanical liquid level measuring means to be linked with a tank, circuit components, and the storage part for a battery completely from one another. CONSTITUTION:The liquid level measuring instrument is provided with a fitting base 31 fixed to a riser pipe 30 from an underground tank, a main body base 35 which is fitted thereupon, and an electric box base 40 which carries the circuit components and lithium battery 45. Further, the instrument is provided with an electric box case 50 which seals the base 40 airtightly and enables a tape drum unit 58 to be connected to the float of the underground tank, in other words, carries the unit 58 in an atmosphere of inflammable gas and a main body case 70 where the base 40 and case 50 are covered and fitted on the base 35. Highly inflammable gas from the tank is prevented from entering the internal space covered with the cover 56 of the case 50 to secure protection without any danger of ignition, etc., due to a spark. Then liquid level measurement data is sent out of an antenna as a radio signal. |
