<p>PURPOSE:To improve the key input operability for the shift of a cursor by displaying a current screen which can display a target position in accordance with an input target position, and shifting the cursor to the target position. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate display means displays the coordinate axes 5 and 6 of the X coordinates obtained by dividing the horizontal length of a virtual screen 4 into (m) pieces and the Y coordinates obtained by dividing the vertical length of the virtual screen 4 against a current screen 3 on this screen 3. Then a keyboard device 19 which can input both X and Y coordinate values as the coordinate data inputs this coordinate data on the target position for shift of a cursor 10 on the screen 4 including the coordinate values of positions which are not displayed on the screen 3. Thus a cursor control means shows the screen 3 capable of display of a target position on a display device in accordance with the target position inputted from the device 19. Then the cursor 10 is shifted to its target position. As a result, the cursor 10 can be directly and instantaneously shifted to the coordinate position inputted by an operator.</p> |
