PURPOSE:To obtain a inexpensive traffic information processor by sharing functions among various traffic information systems. CONSTITUTION:The traffic information processor 10 inputs traffic information in formats corresponding to the kinds of traffic information systems from a beacon receiver 2, an FM multiplex broadcast receiver 3, and an optical receiver 16, and a signal processing part 7 deciphers the inputted traffic information and stores only the data part in a data memory 8; when processing for navigation, etc., is performed, the data are read out of the data memory 8 and the read data converted to a united format irrelevantly to the kinds of the traffic information systems, and the converted data are outputted to an on-vehicle information device 4 through an interface 9. |
