<p>PURPOSE: To certainly prevent leakage at the time of very high pressure by holding a hose by first inside diameter expansion of a nipple part and thereafter by compression of a sleeve type member in a range of the expanded nipple. CONSTITUTION: A sleeve type member 20 is fitted in a hose 30 from an end part on the left side of the hose 30 by sliding it. An expanding tool 40 is in a state in the drawing, and a nipple part 14 is inserted into the hose 30. A rod 41 is drawn to the left, and expanding members 42, 43 expand an inside diameter of the nipple part 14. Consequently, the inside diameter becomes D's. This inside diameter is materially the same as an inside diameter of the hose 30. This inside diameter D'2 is slightly smaller than an inside diameter D1, and therefore, a small tapered part 16' remains, and expansion is made only in a region of the nipple part 14. Thereafter, the sleeve type member 20 is further contracted in diameter by a tool as shown by, for example, a dotted line 20', and holding capacity of a hose coupler is increased.</p> |
