摘要 PURPOSE:To uniformalize the flow within heat collecting pipes and consequently enhance the heat collecting efficiency by a structure wherein the minimum cross- sectional area of the flow passage of a header is specified. CONSTITUTION:The heat collecting pipes 3 are provided between the lower and upper headers 2 and 4 of circulating pipes 1 and 5 for feeding and returning water in the solar heat collecting device and as well as the minimum cross- sectional area of the respective flow passages of the headers 2 and 4 are made larger than at least the total amount of the cross-sectional areas of the flow passages of the respective heat collecting pipes 3 and the cross-sectional area of the flow passage of a feed water pipe 1 in order to form a water deceleration tank. The length of the respective headers 2 and 4 beside the heat collecting pipes 3 is made longer than that in the direction normal to the plane containing a plurality of the heat collecting pipes 3. Owing to the structure as described above, the water coming from the feed water pipe 1 reduces its velocity by entering the lower header 2 and the water coming from the heat collecting pipes 3 reduces also similarly its velocity by entering the upper header 4. Consequently, the reduction of the flow velocity changes the dynamic pressure of the water into the static pressure, resulting in uniformalizing the flow of the water.
