<p>PURPOSE:To enable an inexpensive and highly reliable IC card by providing a printed board, which supports a semiconductor chip mounted on a wiring pattern on the surface thereof, with a terminal pin inserting hole bored therethrough from an end surface to the face side thereof, and with a conductive film on the inner surface of the inserting hole. CONSTITUTION:A printed board 11 with a semiconductor chip 2 mounted thereon is provided with a terminal pin inserting hole 11a opened at an end surface of the board 11, and with a conductor film 11b deposited on the inner surface of the hole 11a in connection with a writing pattern 11c provided on the board 11. Since the printed board 11 has a connector function, and IC card using the same does not need any connector, any soldering step for mounting the connector, or a step for washing a flux. By this, manufacturing cost is reduced, and reliability of the IC card is enhanced.</p> |
