PURPOSE:To maintain flexibility of a card as well as surface protection by forming two or more protective layers and making these layers so that from the layer nearest to the transparent substrate to the outer layer, hardness of layers gradually increases in this order. CONSTITUTION:The protective layers are two or more layers of radiation-curing resin having two or more acryloil groups such as UV-curing resin or electron beam curing resin. Each time of forming the layers 51, 52, the layer is irradiated with radioactive rays 6, 7, respectively and the energy of the rays 6, 7 are gradually increased to the most outside layer. Therefore, the outer layer of the protective layers is the harder, which realizes both of flexibity and protection of the protective layers 5. By changing the irradiation energy, the optimal hardness can be obtained. Thereby, the obtd. optical card has improved scratching resistance, mechanical strength and flexibility. |
