PURPOSE:To correctly assume the three-dimensional motion of a three- dimensional substance by accumulating a three-dimensional form model, obtaining the depth information of a block from the model, and obtaining a three-dimensional motion parameter based on the depth information and speed vector information. CONSTITUTION:A block dividing part 3 divides a front frame picture into blocks, and a detecting part 4 obtains the speed vector in units of the block from the picture of a memory 1 and a front frame picture. A parameter assuming part 5 detects the three-dimensional motion parameter of the three-dimensional substance based on the speed vector and block depth coordinates from a coordinate calculating part 8. Next, a form model operating part 6 operates the motion parameter for the three-dimensional form model of the front frame picture, and makes the form, position and direction of the model conform to the input picture, and stores then to a model storing part 7. By using the three- dimensional form model, the three-dimensional motion of the three-dimensional substance is correctly assumed with the use of the smaller memory size. |
