PURPOSE: To provide a halogen-less cable preventing spreading of a fire and generation of smoke, by using a charged polyolefin, polyethelimide, silicon- polyimide copolymer as a material of a jacket and a mixed composition of polyethelimide silicon-polyimide copolymer and polyimide or polyethelimide and silicon-polyimide copolymer as a thermal buffer layer. CONSTITUTION: In order to give flame resistance, low toxicity, low corrosiveness and low smoke generation relating to a cable 20, a metal conductor 26 has an insulation coating 27 consisting of a mixed composition by a plastic material having these characteristics, that is, charged polyolefin, polyethelimide, silicon- polyimide copolymer or polyethelimide and silicon-polyimide copolymer. A thermal buffer layer 30 around an insulating conductor is a layered product provided with a layer 34 consisting of high reflection metal material 32 like aluminum and plastic material. The layer 34 is non-halide material consisting of a mixed composition of polyethelimide, silicon-polyimide copolymer, polyimide or polyethelimide and silicon-polyimide copolymer. |
