PURPOSE: To automatically supply a strip onto a flange by a robot hand by providing a strip holding means to receive the strip and rewinding it for distribution. CONSTITUTION: A seal strip 7 is wound around a rotatable collar 110 inside a cassette 100, one end part 7A of it pases between rollers 112 and 114 while getting in contact with these, it is guided into a port 104 by these rollers 112, 114, a top part 116 having a flange, and a collar 117, and a part of it is extended from the port 104. A seal 7 is supplied into a hand 12, the hand 12 automatically grasps it, and it brings an open port of a channel at a holding part 8 toward a flange 6. The strip 7 is propelled around a roller 44 to face the flange 6. The channel port is thus provided. The robot arm is programed to move the hand 12 toward the flange 6, thereby the holding part 8 grasps the flange 6 as indicated by C. |
