<p>PURPOSE:To have the resonance performance equal to the resonance performance obtainable when the sound-board is formed of wood as well as to assure a smooth surface stable over a long period of time and to reduce the cost of materials by forming the sound-board of the material prepd. by kneading many pieces of stalk chips of woody plant and a binder material to bond these stalk chips to each other. CONSTITUTION:The sound-board is formed of the material prepd. by kneading many pieces of the stalk chips 3 of woody plant and the binder material 4 which bonds the stalk chips 3 to each other. The sound-board which has the function to resonate to string oscillations similar to the string oscillations of wood, such as mapletrees, beeches, and mahogany, allows molding by molding, can assure the smooth surface stable over a long period of time, and is low in cost, and the stringed instruments formed by using this sound-board are easily produced in this way.</p> |
