<p>PURPOSE:To attain the reset processing of a fault section in a communication equipment at a receiver side from a remote location by equipping a reset signal decoding circuit discriminating a reset signal and a reset signal generating circuit generating the reset signal receiving the signal sent from the decoding circuit to a subsequent communication equipment. CONSTITUTION:Only a reset signal is extracted from a data signal sent to a reset signal decoding circuit 1 of a subsequent communication equipment 11 and sent to a reset signal generating circuit 2. The reset signal generating circuit 2 sends a reset signal to a microprocessor 10 or the like being a fault section to execute resetting. When resetting is implemented and normal state is restored, the processing having an error is implemented again and the result of normality is sent to a host communication equipment 10. Thus, even when there is a bug in the software of the microprocessor 15 at the receiver side and a fault takes place in the transmission/reception of data to/from the communication circuit, the fault is detected at a remote location to send a reset signal thereby applying reset processing.</p> |
