<p>PURPOSE:To obtain the fixing means for medical purposes which fits a patient's form, does not moisten during wearing, easily solidifies in a short period of time, and allow the easy removal after use by using a thermally moldable polyurethane foam having a specific glass transition temp. and compressive strength. CONSTITUTION:The thermally moldable polyurethane foam 10 having 40 to 80 deg.C glass transition temp. and at least 1kg/cm<2> (20 deg.C) compressive strength is used. On of the more specific examples of such thermally moldable polyurethane foam is a polyurethane foam obtd. by bringing polyol and multifunctional isocyanate into reaction, in which the polyol consists of 50 to 95wt.% polyether polyol having 3 to 5 average functional group and 200 to 1000mgKOH/g average hydroxyl value and 5 to 50wt.% polymer polyol obtd. by polymn. of a monomer having a polymerizable unsatd. group.</p> |
