PURPOSE:To accurately detect a full condition that a discarded toner housing part is filled with toner completely by constituting a recorder so that a photosensitive belt and a follower roller slip on each other when a rotational load goes to a certain value, and detecting a slipping condition. CONSTITUTION:A disk 24 is fixed to the end of the roller shaft 3a of the follower roller 3, and provided with small holes 24a at the same pitches in the circumferential direction. The photosensor 25 of a reflection type 25, which detects light reflected from the disk, is installed opposite to the disk 24. When the rotational load of a toner recovering member 15 is increased, the follower roller 3 reduces the rotational speed, and slip occurs between the follower roller 5 and the photosensitive belt 1; however, a full condition is indirectly detected through the reduction of the rotational speed. For example, the number of times a sensor detects the small holes 24a per unit time is reduced because the rotational speed of the disk is lowered, but the full condition can be accurately detected through the detection. |
