PURPOSE:To improve adhesion to a metal face by incorporating a specified heterocyclic compd. in a photopolymerizable compsn. polymerizable and hardenable with irradiation of actinic rays, for use in manufacture of printed circuits. CONSTITUTION:A photopolymerizable compsn. contains (A) a nongaseous ethylenically unsatd. compd. having plural terminal unsatd. groups, (B) a thermoplastic org. polymer binder, (C) a photopolymn. initiator activatable with actinic rays, and (D) a heterocyclic compd. represented by the fomula in which R1 is H, alkyl, or the like; R2, R3 are each H, alkyl, or the like; R4, R5 are each H, alkyl, or the like, and they may form pyrrolidine, piperidine, or the like ring together with N; and X, Y are each O, S, or the like. Said compd. (D) can improve adhesion to a metal surface without lowering photopolymn. sensitivity, and it does not cause harmful actions, such as reddening a copper surface and decoloring a dye, and does not bring about any disadvantageous trouble in manufacture, such as low solubility, and its addition can form an image high in sharpness. |
