PURPOSE:To keep excellent sensitizing effect and to effectively prevent the refuse adhesion phenomenon of a head by containing at least 1,2- diphenoxyethane and 1,2-bis(3-methylphenoxy)ethane in a thermal recording layer as heat-metable substances. CONSTITUTION:1,2-diphenoxyethane and 1,2-bis(3-methylphenoxy)ethane are contained in the thermal recording layer of a thermal recording material utilizing coupling reaction forming a color through the contact of a colorless-light- colored basic dye and a coupler as heat-meltable substances and the latter is used in an amount of 25-400% by wt. of the former. As the basic dye, 3di(n- butyl)amino-6-methyl-7-phenylaminofluorane is used. Further, the coupler is used in an amount of 100-700 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the basic dye. The use amount of the heat-meltable substance in the recording layer is 50-500 pts.wt. per 100 pts.wt. of the basic dye. |
