PURPOSE:To easily prevent dew condensation and to maintain the surface of the electrophotographic sensitive body in a desired humidity conditioned state so that the adhesion of dust, dirt, etc., by the generation of static electricity is prevented and good images are obtd. at the time of a use start by bringing a film-shaped member having a humidity conditioning function into contact with the surface of the photoconductive layer of the electrophotographic sensitive body to cover the surface. CONSTITUTION:Dustfree paper subjected to humidity conditioning of the moisture absorbed therein is wound one turn on the surface of the photoconductive layer of the electrophotographic sensitive body 3 having a hollow cylindrical shape and the winding end parts are fixed by double-coated tacky adhesive tapes. The end face of such electrophotographic sensitive body 3 is fixed onto a retaining means 2 and the other end of the electrophotographic sensitive body 3 is fixed by another end face retaining means 2. This electrophotographic sensitive body 3 is put into a polyethylene (PE) bag 4 and this PE bag 4 is inserted into a fiber outside cylinder 5 having a bottom and is sealed with an upper cap 1. The easy prevention of the dew condensation is possible in this way and the surface of the electrophotographic sensitive body is maintained in the desired humidity conditioned state. The adhesion of the dust, dirt, etc., by the generation of the static electricity is prevented in this way and the good images are obtd. at the time of the use start. |
