The apparatus keeps the temperature of the material contacted with heat source less than a designed temperature through cooling the heat generated from propelling or subsidiary power generating aparatus. The apparatus classified as scoop, cooler, sea chest system includes submerged pipe (5) having thermo-siphon effect connected with the center jointing two coolers (3)(3'). The pipe is vertically passed through the surface of sea water.
