The present invention relates to an anti-backslip device for a cross-country ski, of the type with movable scales 6-10 mounted in a housing 4 formed in the ski 1, all these scales 6-10 being coupled together and being distributed at a distance from one another in the longitudinal direction. This device is characterised in that the scales 6-10, articulated about respective horizontal and transverse spindles 6a-10a, always bear against one another, at their lower parts, so as to form a continuous leaktight barrier which prevents the passage of snow towards the inside of the ski 1. <IMAGE>
