PURPOSE:To easily convert down the multi-channel audio signal to, for example, 16 kinds of channel forms with a low cost. CONSTITUTION:Center, left center, and right center channels are synthesized by a CC synthesizer 22a, and left and left center channels are synthesized by an LL synthesizer 22b, and right and right center channels are synthesized by an RR synthesizer 22c, and left, left center, center, right center, and surround left channels are synthesized by an Lmix synthesizer 22d, and right, right center, center, left center, and surround right channels are synthesized by an Rmix synthesizer 22e, and audio signals of 10 channels in total are generated by these synthesized channels and left, right, surround left, surround right, and subwoofer channels. |
