PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of assembly by screwing and enhance the working efficiency by connecting integrally an air suction duct to a resonator main body at the time of its blow molding. CONSTITUTION:A cut 4b of given width A corresponding to sound deadening qualities is formed in an intermediate section of a flexed section of an air suction duct material 8, and areas close to said both ends of said air duct material 8 are wrapped by means of a setting jig 9 and set in a blow molding die 10 of a resonator main body 5. That is, a parison 12 from a molding machine 11 is covered over an intermediate flexed section having the cut 4b of the air suction duct material 8 and set in the blow molding die 10. When air is blown into the parison 12 and the resonator main body 5 is blow molded, both ends of the air suction duct material 8 are blocked to exhaust no air and carry out blow molding of the resonator main body 5 in a good manner. Thus, both ends of the air suction duct material 8 integrated with the resonator main body 5 are removed and opened, and an air suction duct 4 separated into an inlet duct 4c and an outlet duct 4d is formed. |
