PURPOSE:To generate a synthesized sound near the natural voice by smoothing rhythm change in connection of a fixed word part with a varying word part. CONSTITUTION:A voice synthesizing device generates a specified synthetic sound by combining a fixed word part in the recording synthesization system with a varying word part in the regular synthesization system and connecting them to each other, wherein a pitch pattern of the varying word part is extracted from a natural voice consisting of a varying word and fixed word (S2), and the pitch pattern obtained through averaging process of the extracted pitch pattern is applied as a pitch pattern of varying words for use in voice synthesization (S3), and the energy pattern and rhythm duration are adjusted (S4), and as rhythm control data of the varying word part its voice synthesization takes place (S5), and a synthesized voice in connection with varying word is acquired. |
