PURPOSE:To provide a method and device for document processing, which can easily delete a desired character in a KANA (Japanese syllabary)/KANJI (Chinese character)-converted character string. CONSTITUTION:This device displays a converted character KANA/KANJI- converted corresponding to an inputted key code and when it is instructed of the deletion of the converted character (step S2), the device judges whether the converted character of which deletion is instructed, is KANA/KANJI- converted or not (step S3). When it is, the device changes the converted character to a defined character (step S4) and specifies the defined character with a cursor to be deleted (step S7). |
