PURPOSE:To convert an unkown word into a correct KANA/KANJI-mixed document. CONSTITUTION:A character input means 11 inputting a character, etc., a storing means 17 which retrieves the inputted character from a dictionary so as to execute grammer analysis, reads the reading string of the inputted character, converts the string into the combination string of a caption and caption length and stores it in a storage buffer, a KANA/KANJI conversion processing part 14 converts the unknown word and the one-character caption into KATAKANA when the unknown word exists in the combination string which is stored in the storing means 17 and also one or the continuous one-character captions exist after/before the unknown word the storing means 19 storing the KATAKANA character which is processed by the KANA/KANJI conversion processing part 14 in an output buffer and an output part 21 outputting the KATAKANANA character stored by the storing means 19, are provided. |
