PURPOSE:To secure the organization information of a body skin just-under part by executing the intervention of a standoff layer for executing a separation at a prescribed interval between the ultrasonic wave transmitting and receiving surface of an ultrasonic probe and a body internal wall. CONSTITUTION:The waveform of an ultrasonic wave emitted from an ultrasonic probe 10 is not made into the waveform of a correct one shot, a condition to tail by the degree of a prescribed time DELTAt, namely, a group delay is generated. The standoff layer having a prescribed thickness (d) is formed between an ultrasonic wave transmitting and receiving surface 10a and the body internal wall for separating the ultrasonic wave transmitting and receiving surface 10a from the body internal wall by the degree corresponding to the group delay time DELTAt. The standoff layer is made of an acoustic coupling medium 13 such as a jelly for ultrasonic diagnosis having the same viscosity and acoustic characteristic as, for example, an ultraphonic, etc., and the acoustic coupling medium 13 is put into a cylindrical container 14 attached to a main body operating part. |
