PURPOSE:To make smoothly receiving the data under playing and also use of the tone data after data reception by properly performing the signal receive processing for the tone data which is fed externally via a MIDI. CONSTITUTION:At the time of bulk data reception including the tone data, first the place to be data accommodated which is specified by the user (TO specification, VCe specification) is judged (S43, S4), followed by judgement of the type of the received bulk data (whether PFM bulk data or voice data), S44, S49. and then the received bulk data is accommodated in specified addresses of a tone data memory, S45, S47, S48. S50. The user is allowed to make previous specification of the place where the received data is to be accommodated through a bulk data receive setting process. |
