PURPOSE:To impart superior color forming properties and resistance to stains by contacting, rubbing, and printing by a method wherein microcapsules having an amino-aldehyde resin wall film are incorporated in a coating liquid containing a specific copolymer latex, and this is applied on a substrate. CONSTITUTION:In pressure-sensitive copying paper produced by applying a coating liquid containing microcapsules having an amino-aldehyde resin wall film on a substrate, as the coating liquid a coating liquid of the following composition is used: 30-60wt.% aliphatic conjugated diolefin monomer, 0.5-5wt.% ethylene unsatd. acid monomer, 10-50wt.% aromatic vinyl monomer, 5-50wt.% ethylene unsatd. carboxylate monomer, 5-30wt.% ethylene unsatd. nitryl monomer, and a synthetic high-molecular latex of 100% or more swell by diisopropyl naphthalene. The use of a latex with a swell less than 100% causes the break of the capsules under a printing pressure at the time of printing and the extraction of a hydrophobic core substance in the capsules by a printing ink, thus resulting in the deterioration of resistance to color forming staining. |
